Vertical mill grinding roller, grinding disc, wear resistant liners are the important wear parts of vertical roller mill, and they requires good wear resistance. But it is easy to cause damages to the wear parts, thereby reducing the equipment operation efficiency, increase the equipment maintenance costs if there are some inappropriate method of operation. So in order to solve this problems, we can start from the following six aspects:
1.Select suitable material. Different materials have various wear degrees to the vertical mill,  high hardness materials have a great influence on the working time of vertical mill parts. When we try to increase quartz and pyrite content, these parts wear fast. So it is necessary to choose the appropriate materials.
2.To ensure uniform feeding. Choose appropriate particle size according to the material hardness,  typically, harder material diameter below 3 cm is ideal.
3.Metal pieces are forbidden to go inside the vertical mill.
4.Timely replacement of easy to wear parts.
5.Check roller bearing inside the roll sleeve, and clean it when the need to change the grinding roller.
6.Following correct boot sequence.
