Bucket elevators made of wear resistant steel plate against abrasive wear

Materials leakage is common to see once the bucket elevators exposed to high abrasion, it is very difficult to fix bucket and become the large hidden trouble for normal safety production.

Bucket elevator has three discharging methods, centrifugal, gravity type and mixed type, bucket elevator loading and unloading has a strong influence on the working situation and productivity. There was abrasive wear when conveying strong abrasive cement materials, and it is the main failure form between pin shaft and the sleeve. The surface hardness of each component is the main factor affecting the wear resistance, it has to ensure high wear resistance and fatigue resistance, also the matching relationship among sleeve, pin shaft and roller. Poor hardness of conveying chain and heave abrasive wear in a very short-term working period are the important reasons of chain breakage.
 
Solution to improve working performance of bucket elevators are:
1.Optimizing the structure of bucket chain and strengthening processing method, to ensure parts processing and assembly precision.
2.Using chromium carbide wear resistant steel plate to make bucket elevators,so as to improve wear resistance and bucket surface hardness.
