Overlay liners made from high chromium carbide wear plate can work much more better than other wear resistant materials. Abrasion resistant steel plate hardfacing surface will always have stress relief cracks in order to provide maximum service life in heavily abrasive applications. Welding cracks are normal and should occur during the welding process.
